1956 Cadillac Series 62
Description
1956 Cadillac Series 62
In 1954 the fourth generation of the Series 62 was being offered and only being a two-year run in what I believe is the most attractive of all 62’s is pretty special. They were lower, sleeker, had more power and the ride was like a cloud. These cars could be outfitted with for at the time was a ton of options including A/C, power windows and convertible top, power seats among other things. Not to mention these cars were very expensive for the time making them very sought after by the whose who of the world. This particular absolute stunning example weighs in at 4665 Lbs and cost almost $4,500. In 2009 R and A Engineering did a body on restoration in 2009 that included, body, paint, mechanical work, suspension and brakes. The paint was done to a very high standard with all trim, bumpers, bright work, chrome etc… being removed from the car that still shows magnificently to this day as the car has had perfect climate controlled storage since. The interior is better than new, the top is new and works absolutely perfectly. The engine starts, runs and drives down the road like a dream. The chrome is in like new condition.
