1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible
Description
1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible
The Ford motor company introduced the Thunderbird in 1955 and continued over the course of eleven-model generation through 2005. It created a market niche that was brand new to the automotive scene and eventually was marketed and known as the personal luxury car.
Pleased to bring this stunning 1965 Ford Thunderbird Roadster to market with 88k miles and finished in the iconic Rangoon Red and White leather interior. This Z code 390ci V8 carries the 4 barrel carb and the 3 speed cruise-o-matic transmission. Engine is strong and shows very nicely with proper markings and excellent insulation blanket. Electronic ignition was added during the restoration and gives much better reliability for the next owner. Interior of the vehicle is in very good condition with small blemishes but overall a remarkable car that has been well cared for and stored properly. Chrome remains in above average condition with some very light pitting on the bumper. The power convertible top works and functions properly with some small cosmetic imperfections. Factory A/C car (inop) with chrome wire wheels, rare dual power seats, full power windows and proper hardtop roadster tonneau top.
