The 1967 modified Shelby Mustang featured in the year 2000 movie, Gone in 60 Seconds, was cited by Hot Rod magazine as being one of the top 100 most influential cars of all time. The reasoning being that this movie and movie car was responsible for introducing a whole new demographic of “non-car people” into the world of collector and special interest vehicles. It also influenced a few custom car builders and fabricators to re-create the Famed “Eleanor” to meet demands for the car generated by the Hit Movie. While there were a few large companies producing “Eleanor” style mustangs on a tiered package type program, few possessed the engineering, quality of fabrication and shear thought of the 19 Cars produced by Gene Noble of G-Tech Engineering of Greenville Michigan.
