1970 Plymouth Barracuda
Description
1970 Plymouth Barracuda
1970 Plymouth Barracuda for purchase. The redesign in 1970 for the 3rd generation of Barracuda removed all commonality with the Valiant and the new E-body version of the “Cuda” was born. With this new redesign and new body, along with the release of the Dodge Challenger on the same platform, the Barracuda was no longer anything resembling an economy car. The Barracuda was all Mopar muscle.
The ‘Cuda offered here has been owned by a collector and was owned by NASCAR driver Matt DiBenedetto before that and according to the owner – the 340 V8 that is in it was built by his crew. The 340 has a six pack and is mated to a pistol grip shifter. Other highlights include AM/FM radio, center console, bucket seats, power breaks and power steering, heat wrapped headers. This is an excellent running and handling example.
